CMS (Crescent Motorsport) has been servicing and modifying Ford performance vehicles since 1989. Over the years, the business has evolved alongside the Ford performance scene, working with everything from early Australian Falcons through to the latest Mustang, Focus RS and Ranger platforms.

Our workshop is equipped with a Mainline chassis dynamometer and industry-leading diagnostic equipment, including Snap-on diagnostic systems, a 4-channel lab scope, Ford IDS and Forscan software. We specialise in early and late-model Australian Fords, as well as the Ford Mustang, Focus RS, Cosworth platforms and a range of other Ford performance vehicles.

Owner/Technician/Tuner
Joe Santangelo has been involved in the automotive industry for more than 40 years and has been self-employed since 1988. Holding trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanical, Automotive Electrical and Automotive LPG systems, his career has been built around a lifelong passion for performance vehicles, motorsport and practical hands-on experience.
Motorsport has played a significant role throughout Joe’s career. During the 1980s he was involved with a private Ford Cosworth rally team before progressing to competition himself, campaigning a Mitsubishi Lancer under the Group 7 Motorsport banner. His involvement in motorsport also extended to road racing, competing in the 250cc Production class at circuits including Oran Park and Amaroo Park, as well as karting in the 100cc Clubman Heavy category.
Away from competition, Joe has remained actively involved in the performance industry, including providing technical assistance to a local Formula 3 team and continuing to develop his knowledge through hands-on involvement in the automotive sector.
Over the years, Joe has received local business awards, participated in community and charity events, and built long-standing relationships with customers. His hands-on approach and willingness to go the extra mile remain an important part of the business today.
